For two days now I have been unable to get into broswershots.org. I loved using their service for cross-browser testing. I hope this only a temporary thing. They provide a valuable service.
In the downtime, I searched for an alternative and ran across Adobe Browser lab this is a nifty little extension that you can use directly from the Dreamweaver CS4 interface. It gets the job done! So I wanted to share it with everyone. It also is available as a stand alone application so if you don’t use CS4 your still in luck. Best of all it’s free!
If I could only have one wish is that someone would make this an actual live server testing environment. Browser shots on the different platforms has always just been screenshots-nothing functions (like the navigation) Wouldn’t it be great if there were a solution that offered cross browser testing that was functional. I bet there is, but with out being an IT guru, I haven’t a clue how to set up virtual servers.
Hope this helps someone!
Update: As of 03/23/2010 Looks like browser shots is back on-line! Yea

Check out crossbrowsertesting.com – it does both screenshots and provides interactive live testing.

Check BrowserSeal, it maybe exactly what you are looking for
Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to try it out. But I try to be thrifty with the money so I realy like the free options that are out there. Thanks though, maybe this will help someone else.
Looks like another option, but again I like the free things out there. Does anyone know what happened to browsershots.org?
